Wool weaving is an ancient tradition in the Himalayan ranges across Himachal Pradesh. This is today being carried forward by weavers who live in small villages across the valleys here. Depending on the weave, pattern and the kind of yarn being used, a single weaver can weave from one metre to five metres in a day, creating unique and distinct designs in the process.

Our partner Kullu Karishma works with weavers in the Himachal region, thus helping keep this age-old tradition alive. They have created a special collection for PeepulTree.
